Deer Park will host Pearland at Cotton Watkins Gym with sub-varsity contests at 9 and 10:30 a.m., before the two varsity squads take the floor at approximately noon.
It’ll be Deer Park’s first game on Billy Carlisle Court since playing two McDonald’s Texas Invitational contests there on Nov. 18, splitting a pair of pool games.
Dobie’s boys team will compete in the Texas Jamboree at Episcopal High School Saturday, opposing The Village School in an 8:30 a.m. tipoff. It’s the first of nine games Saturday after eight were played on Friday, but the Longhorns weren’t one of them. Contests will run every 90 minutes throughout the day, ending with an 8:30 p.m. tipoff.
District 22-6A foe Channelview has also played at the Jamboree, but they played Friday morning at 11 against Houston Lamar.
South Houston will make a short road trip to Clear Lake High School and the Bill Krueger Fieldhouse for a 2 p.m. tipoff. The freshmen and JV begin play at 11:30 and 12:45.
Just two weeks away from the debut of District 22-6A competition, the Pasadena Memorial varsity girls will entertain Dickinson in a 1 p.m. tipoff. The freshmen A game will commence the action with a 10 a.m. start.aside">
The Pasadena High School girls will also be making a short road trip as they travel to Galena Park for contests at 10 and 11:30 a.m., culminating with the varsity meeting at 1 p.m.
